Arranging
Identify what is remaining and arrange it into similar items.
Step 2.
Entropy is another word you may or may not be familiar with. It’s a physics term defining the energy level required to maintain an orderly system. Your home is that system, and everything inside your home has a specific degree of energy necessary to maintain orderliness. That means doing dishes, making the bed, and taking a shower all take a certain amount of your energy. Arranging your home takes a lot of energy, so making it lean and clutter-free will decrease your must-do energy.
- Here are tips to help you have a nicely arranged home.
- How often?
- Did you have dinner? Do the dishes as quickly as possible.
- Grouping is possible.
- Is your coffee maker in the corner and the coffee cups across the kitchen? Group it all together.
- Labeling – is my favorite part.
- Cereal not put away? Put a label where it should go.
- Where do I put this?
- Assign a spot for everything – mixer, toaster, bread. Define how much you use weekly, or longer if needed, and create a dedicated place. Remember, decide what you use most frequently and make it available. I mean, make it the most convenient spot. Is your dog ready for a walk outside? Make a dedicated spot at the door for the dog leash and no place else.
